Wright is actively engaged in the community - volunteering with the 46th Ward RCO, Cobbs Creek Neighbors, block committee, and local neighborhood advisory committee (NAC).

PROVEN EXPERIENCE
Wright is a Community Developer with over a 15-year proven track record engaging neighbors to leverage community assets to improve their quality of life, once being recognized as a Rising Star by the Philadelphia Association of Community Development Corporations in 2016 and shown by the planning and implementation of an award winning neighborhood revitalization strategy, Make Your Mark Plan.
ADVOCATE FOR ACCESS TO QUALITY EDUCATION
Wright was a leader in the fight to save E.M. Stanton Public School from closure, as well as establishing a new public school site, which currently houses Powel Elementary and Science Leadership Academy Middle Schools, the creation of the CBA for UCity Square.

INCREASING ACCESS TO RESOURCES
Wright was the lead community development expert for The Philadelphia Masjid’s Sacred Places/Civic Spaces project, which resulted in the Masjid being able to raise $350k in pre-development resources.
